Mr. Rogers McCarthney

Roger is the CEO of Performance Inspired Ltd and also serves as the Executive Director of the Centre of International Executive Education & Development, a partner of CMI. He has a strong academic background with diplomas in Consumer Affairs and Management Studies, as well as an MBA from Lancashire Business School. His expertise lies in management and leadership development, performance improvement, personal and professional development, and employee engagement. With extensive experience in business development, Roger excels at inspiring teams to overcome challenges and achieve success.

Roger dedicated 13 years of his career to the Chartered Management Institute, collaborating with employers, individual members, and educational partners to develop management, leadership, and performance improvement programs.

During his tenure as Regional Manager (1997-2010), he fostered strong relationships with universities and colleges across various regions. His involvement was primarily focused on Business or Management Schools and included degree or Masters programmes such as MBAs. Notably, Roger played a pivotal role in establishing development initiatives for senior managers within Cumbria CC as a specially co-opted member of the Corporate Training Group, impacting over 19,000 employees and 100+ Directors, Divisional Managers, and Heads of Business Units.

Roger is an esteemed fellow and chartered member of the Chartered Management Institute, as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His credentials also include certification as a Lead Assessor in Quality Assurance from Gilbert Associates and Applied Statistics from Nalgo Correspondence Institute. In addition, he has held leadership roles such as past joint Chairman of CIPD and CMI North West organization development forum. Furthermore, he served as the former Chairman of the North Region Fair Trading Panel and Quality Standards Panel, demonstrating his significant contributions to various professional organizations.

Roger holds several executive positions as a Trustee, or director providing guidance on governance, strategic direction, strategy development and people development.
